author

Shari Arison founded EoL Radio, which operates as part of the organization Essence of Life (EoL) that she established in 2001. EoL Radio is as one of three channels, through which Essence of Life operates to raise awareness and offer tools for attaining inner peace.

Shari Arison heads the Arison Group – a global business and philanthropic group that invests in initiatives with added value for people, society, the economy, and the environment. Under The Ted Arison Family Foundation, which is the overarching philanthropic organization that Shari Arison established in Israel, there are several vision ventures she founded: Essence of Life – operates to raise awareness and provide tools for inner peace; All One – creates a global conversation of a new reality encapsulated in the message of “we are all connected, all one”; and Goodnet – a social Internet initiative that is the gateway for Doing Good.

The Ted Arison Family Foundation houses the organization Good Spirit (Ruach Tova, in Hebrew) – encourages the spirit of volunteering in Israel. Within its framework, Shari Arison initiated Good Deeds Day – a peek event of year-round activities of good, celebrated as an international day that involves millions of people in more than 100 countries across the globe. Additionally, Shari Arison established Matan – Investing in the Community – based on United Way, it strengthens the business sector’s commitment to the communities in which it operates.

Shari Arison developed The Doing Good Model – a sustainable values-based business model for positive creation worldwide, combining 13 fundamental human values in any activity. The Doing Good Model is used as a practical day-to-day tool for integrating values at the core of people, businesses, nonprofits, and communities, for the benefit of society at large. It is the result of a two-decade process in which it was developed by Shari Arison. In 2009, the model was solidified into its final format, in collaboration with the Arison Group executive team and an interdisciplinary group of academics from leading international universities.
